Modern Masters Metal Effects Green Patina Aging Solution speeds up oxidation of Metal Effects Copper Paint to create an authentic green patina finish in minutes. The system works on properly prepared metal, wood, drywall, plaster, paintable wallcoverings, canvas and plastic.

How to apply

1. Prime with at least two coats of Metal Effects Primer and let it dry.
2. Apply a coat of Metal Effects Copper Paint and let it dry, then apply a second coat.
3. While the second coat is still wet (within 5 minutes), apply the Green Patina Aging Solution. After 5 minutes, apply again. The patina appears as the surface dries, about 30-40 minutes.
4. Optional: on surfaces with repeated hand contact, protect with Metal Effects Permacoat Xtreme once fully dry.

Good to know

Cold or humid conditions slow the oxidation and dry time. Make a sample board first. Read the Metal Effects Copper Paint and Patina technical data sheet.
