How much do I need?
One quart covers about 88-100 sq ft per coat (350-400 sq ft per gallon). Plan a second coat for severe odor areas.
How to apply
- Make sure the surface is clean, dry and sound. Wash with a low-suds cleaner or TSP substitute (avoid ammonia on urine odors), rinse and let dry.
- Mix thoroughly. Apply by brush, roller or airless sprayer. If thinning, add no more than 10 fl oz of water per gallon.
- For severe odor areas, apply a second coat after 45 minutes.
- Clean up with warm water and liquid detergent.
Good to know
Works on wood floors and subfloors, cabinets, walls and ceilings, including drywall, plaster, masonry, metal and PVC. It kills existing odors but is not a disinfectant and will not stop odors that start after application. Not for exterior, excessively humid areas or surfaces in contact with water. Removing old paint can release toxic lead dust; see the data sheet for lead-safe practices. Read the Odor Killing Primer technical data sheet.
