How much do I need?
One quart covers 55-125 sq ft per coat. For 2 coats, one quart covers roughly 28-62 sq ft, depending on how heavily you build the washed look.
How to apply
- Make sure the surface is free of dust, grease, oil, stains and rust. Sand glossy surfaces and remove any loose paint.
- Stir well. Apply a light coat with a synthetic brush, brushing in a "V" pattern for a washed look.
- Recoat after 1 hour, adding coats until you reach the coverage you want. Allow more time in cool or humid conditions.
Good to know
For interior use only; do not use on surfaces exposed to high humidity. The finish has a subtle texture by design. Read the Milk Paint Finish technical data sheet.
