Krud Kutter Gloss-Off Prepaint Surface Preparation is a no-rinse, one-step formula that prepares high-gloss and other hard-to-stick-to surfaces for repainting or refinishing. It helps new paint and varnish bond to old finishes and removes dirt, grease, grime, smoke, mildew, food stains, heel marks, crayon, old wallpaper paste and wax.

How much do I need?

One 32 oz bottle covers about 50-75 sq ft.

How to apply

1. Test first on a surface you are not refinishing; it de-glosses most surfaces.
2. Use full strength. Saturate a coarse, lint-free cloth and apply in a circular motion, refolding and re-wetting the cloth often.
3. Wipe off with a clean cloth, turning it often to avoid smears.
4. When the surface is dry to the touch (usually about 10 minutes), apply the new finish.

Good to know

Do not use on porous or non-washable wallpaper. It also cleans brushes and roller covers between colors and removes gritty residue left by strippers. Caution: eye and skin irritant. Keep out of reach of children. Read the Gloss-Off technical data sheet.
