Green's
Green's is the clear water-based wood preservative line from Green Products Company (Richmond, CA), the same maker behind Copper-Green wood preservatives. This brand collection covers Green's products currently in the Project Weekend DIY store.
Per Green Products Company materials, Green's Water-Based Wood Preservative (formerly sold as Green's Clear) is an EPA-registered water-based preservative (EPA Reg. No. 66591-6). The active ingredient copper 8-quinolinolate is positioned to control wood-decay fungi and help repel wood-destroying insects, including termites and wood-boring beetles. Maker guidance lists above-ground uses such as wood window sills, trellises, greenhouse benches, foundations, planter boxes, lawn furniture, and decks. Apply by brush or dip; do not thin or dilute; clean up with water. One coat under paint, or two liberal coats on unfinished wood. Oil or alkyd paint can follow after thorough drying (about 48 hours per product copy). It is not a stain or finish, and is not for food or feed contact surfaces or beehive construction. Our live SKU is Clear, gallon, manufacturer part 34001.
