Geocel (Geocel Products Group, a business unit of The Sherwin-Williams Company) makes specialty sealants for roofing and building repair. This brand collection covers Geocel products currently in the Project Weekend DIY store, starting with Geocel 4500 Roof Bonding Sealant.

Per GeocelUSA product literature, Geocel 4500 is a premium one-component Scypolymer bonding sealant designed for roofing applications. Maker materials say it can apply, adhere, and cure underwater, works as both a lap adhesive and scrim edge sealant, remains flexible, and uses a non-flammable formulation. Typical uses listed include repairing and sealing around through-roof projections, termination points, and flashings, plus EPDM lap cement and night-seal work. Substrates called out include asphalt shingles, steel, concrete, EPDM, primed TPO, primed PVC, Hypalon (black only), metal, wood, and other common building substrates. TPO and PVC membranes need primer (Geocel recommends 45P TPO & PVC Primer). Do not use on unprimed TPO or PVC, black sealant on white EPDM, white sealant on black EPDM, potable water applications, or areas where food is processed or stored.
