How to apply
Start with the manufacturer's preparation steps: Remove previous stain/coatings that block penetration; Clean dirt, pollen and mildew; Rinse and allow wood 24 hours to dry; Allow heavy or wet boards 3-6 weeks to air dry; Test color and penetration on small area.
- Clean, remove blocking coatings, and dry wood
- Stir well, then stir every 10-15 minutes during use
- Test color and penetration before full application
- Apply one coat to cool, dry wood, keeping a wet edge
- Remove surface excess within 15 minutes
- Soak used oily rags in water to prevent spontaneous combustion
Good to know
Use limits: Nonwood surfaces; Wood that will not absorb stain.
