How to apply
Start with the manufacturer's preparation steps: Clean and dry; remove dirt, wax, grease, and glue; Wet bare wood to raise grain, let dry, sand smooth with grain, and remove dust; Completely remove prior finish before staining previously finished surfaces.
- Clean, grain-raise, dry, sand, and dust wood
- Stir stain before and during use
- Apply liberal even coat, maintaining wet edge
- Wipe off excess while wet in grain direction
- Allow to dry before protective finish
Good to know
Use limits: Previously finished surfaces until old finish is completely removed.
