How to apply
Start with the manufacturer's preparation steps: Clean and dry; remove dirt, wax, grease, and glue; Sand bare wood medium to fine with grain; remove dust; Sand previously finished surfaces with 220 grit to remove gloss; Ensure stain is thoroughly dry before coating.
- Prepare and sand surface; remove dust
- Stir before and during application; do not shake
- Apply even full coats with grain
- Wait at least 6 hours, sand lightly and remove dust
- Apply second coat
Good to know
Use limits: Over sealers containing stearates.
Danger: Flammable liquid and vapor; may cause skin sensitization, genetic defects, cancer, reproductive harm, organ damage from repeated exposure, and aspiration harm. SDS applies to gallon liquid SKU.
Danger: Oil-soaked rags and sanding waste may ignite spontaneously; place in sealed water-filled metal container.
Keep the recoat time and full cure time separate when planning the project. The recoat figure tells you when another coat can be applied; it does not replace the full cure guidance.
