How to apply
Start with the manufacturer's preparation steps: Fill cracks and nail holes; Prime with low-sheen primer-sealer, preferably tinted near chosen plaster color; Test color and technique on sample board.
- Prepare and prime smooth surface
- Apply thin skim coat, scrape off excess, dry 1 hour
- Apply texture coat, smooth peaks, dry 1-2 hours
- Apply second skim coat, dry 1 hour
- For marble look, sand dry finish with 400 grit then 600 grit and burnish
- Apply VP300 clear topcoat where extra protection is needed
Good to know
Use limits: Unprimed or uneven surfaces; Scrubbable or water-resistant use without VP300 topcoat; Other protective topcoats.
