How to apply
Start with the manufacturer's preparation steps: Clean and dry; remove dirt, grease, glue and dust; Sand bare wood smooth with 220 grit along grain; Lightly sand previously finished wood for adhesion; Oil-based Pre-Stain Wood Conditioner recommended for raw wood.
- Prepare wood and test color
- Stir; do not shake or thin
- Brush on a very thin coat with grain
- Wait at least 6 hours and rub lightly with fine steel wool; remove dust
- Apply second thin coat; third if deeper color desired
