How to apply
Start with the manufacturer's preparation steps: Open-grain wood: sand 120, 150, 180 grit; Closed-grain wood: sand 150 then 220 grit; Remove dust; remove any existing finish.
- Sand raw wood to recommended grit and remove dust
- Stir stain; test color and full finishing schedule
- Apply liberally by brush, pad, roller or spray
- Wipe excess with grain
- Allow to dry; optional second coat, no more than two
- Seal with three GF topcoat coats
