How to apply
Start with the manufacturer's preparation steps: Sand raw wood no finer than 220 grit; Scuff clean sealed surfaces with nonwoven pad and 50:50 alcohol/water, dry and sand 220-320 grit; Prime tinted application over sealed surfaces; Test adhesion.
- Prepare and test substrate; prime when specified
- Stir; add up to 10% NCO Catalyst by volume and mix 2-3 minutes
- Rest 15 minutes; strain and spray at 3-5 mil wet film
- Sand between coats and apply 2-3 coats
Good to know
Use limits: Deck surfaces; Over white paint due to yellowing risk; Linseed or Danish oil finishes.
None: Uncatalyzed Gloss base SDS is not classified as hazardous.
Danger: Required NCO Catalyst is combustible; harmful if inhaled; causes serious eye damage and skin irritation; may cause skin allergy and respiratory irritation.
