How to apply

Start with the manufacturer's preparation steps: Clean and dry; remove dirt, wax, grease, and glue; Sand bare wood medium to fine with grain; remove dust; Sand previously finished wood with 220 grit to remove gloss; Allow stain to dry thoroughly before coating.

  1. Prepare wood and remove dust
  2. Stir before and during use; do not shake
  3. Apply even full coats
  4. Wait 8 to 16 hours and sand lightly between coats
  5. Apply at least three coats outdoors

Good to know

Use limits: Non-wood substrates; Wood decks or steps; Wood siding; Log homes; Wood boats below waterline.

Danger: Flammable liquid and vapor; may cause allergic skin reaction, genetic defects, cancer, suspected reproductive harm, and fatal aspiration if swallowed.

Danger: Oil-soaked rags and sanding waste may ignite spontaneously; place in sealed water-filled metal container.

Keep the recoat time and full cure time separate when planning the project. The recoat figure tells you when another coat can be applied; it does not replace the full cure guidance.
