A fast-drying PVA primer specifically formulated for new drywall — seals the surface so your finish coat goes on evenly and looks professional.
What it does: New drywall is porous and uneven — without PVA primer, the first coat of paint soaks in unevenly, causing flashing (dull spots) that ruin an otherwise perfect paint job. PVA primer seals the drywall uniformly so your topcoat applies evenly from the first roll. It dries fast, sands easily, and creates a surface that accepts any water-based topcoat cleanly.
